DMCA Copyright Policy

1. Overview
Stolen.Vote, operated by Argent Hill LLC, a Florida limited liability company, respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users and content providers to do the same.
This policy is intended to comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and to qualify for the safe harbor protections provided therein.
2. Designated DMCA Agent
Argent Hill LLC has designated a DMCA agent to receive copyright infringement notifications. We intend to register this agent with the U.S. Copyright Office as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2).

3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content available on this Site infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification to our Designated Agent that includes the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including the exact URL or location on the Site
- Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
4. Our Response to Notices
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we may:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
- Notify the party who posted or provided the content (if applicable)
- Take additional action as appropriate under the circumstances
We reserve the right to act at our discretion in determining whether content is infringing.
5. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe that material you provided was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Designated Agent that includes:
- Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and its prior location on the Site
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or the Southern District of Florida if your address is outside the United States)
- Your physical or electronic signature
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original claimant. If the original claimant does not file a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringer within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the removed material.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, we will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts or access of users or contributors who are repeat copyright infringers. We may also limit access to the Site for any user who is the subject of repeated DMCA notifications, at our sole discretion.
7. Fair Use
Stolen.Vote is a news aggregation and editorial analysis platform. We respect fair use principles under 17 U.S.C. § 107. When evaluating DMCA notices, we may consider whether the use of copyrighted material qualifies as fair use, including consideration of the purpose and character of the use, the nature of the copyrighted work, the amount used, and the effect on the market for the original work.
We encourage copyright holders to consider whether the use in question constitutes fair use before submitting a DMCA notice.
Imagery used on the Site, including portrait illustrations and article imagery, is generated using artificial intelligence tools and constitutes original content owned by Argent Hill LLC. Such imagery is not copied or derived from any third-party copyrighted work.
8. Good Faith & Misuse
Knowingly submitting a materially false or misleading claim in a DMCA notice or counter-notice may result in liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), including costs and attorneys' fees. We reserve the right to pursue remedies for abuse of this process.
